The eagerly awaited snowfall arrived strongly last monday, bringing more than 50 cm of super light powder. On Wednesday I woke up to blue skies and together with the scandinavian posse here in Engelberg, I had one of the best days of the season.
Yesterday I injured my ankle a little, when landing a frontflip badly. But the doctor predicted that I will be back on my board in week. I will be super glad if he is right, because it hurts pretty bad right now. And in exactly one week I am supposed to leave for a two week photo shoot together with photographer Anders Ödman (www.peantphoto.com). The resorts we plan to visit are Les Arcs, Grimentz and Verbier. In Les Arcs a friend of mine who is local, Thibaud Duchosal, will show us around. Thibaud just place 3rd on the first stop of the Freeride World Tour. Congratulations Thibaud! The result from the trip will be published in the swedish magazine Brant.
I will start riding Flux bindings, through Permafrost Distribution in Sweden. The bindings look super solid. The first pair should arrive shortly. I can¥t wait to try them out. Please check out: www.flux-bindings.com

Epic New Years Day
The winter started of fantisticly in the beginning of december with tons of snow and almost no people. But from Christmas and onwards it has been less snow and more people. The only snowfall since Christmas came on the night of New Years Eve. The wine and champagne was quickly switched to water. And the New Years day turned out to be epic. While most other people were hung over down in the village, I was riding powder together with Sverre Liljequist and Wille Lindberg.
Last week I was working with photographer Fredrik Schenholm and skier Fredrik Ericsson here in Engelberg to get photos for an article in the Danish magazine Luksus.
This week I have been snowboarding in Andermatt, one hour away from Engelberg. There we managed to find super nice terrain with untracked powder.
Snowfall is now forecasted for the coming days in Engelberg :)
